Carragher: In confident mood
Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher admits it is time for the side to deliver next season and Sky Bet have opened a market on where they'll finish in the Premier League.
The Reds go into next term aiming to end their 19-year wait for the Premier League title and they have now gone two seasons without a trophy.
"At a club like Liverpool every season is a big season and we will be going for every trophy we possibly can," Carragher told Sky Sports News.
"It is a big competition not just in the Premier League but around Europe, but I am confident we can produce something this season."
However Sky Bet reckon third is their most likely finishing position at 7/4. It's then 2/1 they again finish fourth, 4/1 for fifth or lower, 9/2 for second and 13/2 for the title.
AC Milan are apparently back in the running for the signature of Brazilian ace Ronaldinho and they are Sky Bet's 11/10 favourites to sign him.
Ronaldinho has been told he is surplus to requirements at Barcelona by new coach Pep Guardiola, with Manchester City just one of a number of leading clubs keen to secure his services.
And Sky Bet are betting on which club he'll be at when the new season starts, making Milan the most likely at 11/10.
It's then 5/2 Chelsea, 6/1 Barcelona, Manchester City, LA Galaxy, 16/1 Liverpool, Manchester United.
The 2008 Speedway Grand Prix of Great Britain takes place at the Millennium Stadium on Saturday and Sky Bet are offering 6/1 for a British driver to take the honours on home soil.
Great Britain fields three riders, with last year's champion Chris Harris quoted at 20/1 to win, Scott Nicholls at 12/1 and wild card Edward Kennett at 50/1.
It's 5/4 for any of the three Brits to achieve a podium finish, which has so far eluded Harris and Nicholls this year and 200/1 for all of them to progress to the final.
World Champion Nicki Pedersen, who won four of the eleven Grand Prix last year, is Sky Bet's 5/2 favourite to get his first win of the season in Cardiff, having finished on the podium for the first four Grand Prix of 2008. Australian ace, Jason Crump, who won in Cardiff in 2006, is 4/1 second favourite.
Sky Bet are offering an unrivalled range of markets on the event, including a selection of match bets, podium finish betting, to make the semi-final odds, to make the final odds, qualifying points odds and specials.
