Murray teams up with Mirnyi

Murray: new partner

It took me a while to find someone. I held off and held off, but I think I have found the right one now. He (Max Mirnyi) serves big, volleys well and has a great presence. I think he's a great player.

Doubles specialist Jamie Murray has revealed he will join up with Max Mirnyi next year.

Murray, 21, won four titles with Eric Butorac during 2007, but that partnership ended after the US Open.

The Scot now plans to team up with Florida-based Belarussian Mirnyi, who won the Australian Open men's doubles with Jonas Bjorkman last year to take his grand slam haul to five titles.

Murray told The Herald: "I didn't think it would happen, if I'm honest.
