Nikolay Davydenko claimed his third title of the year by beating defending champion Tommy Robredo in the Warsaw Open on Sunday.
The top seeded Russian dispatched the Spaniard 6-3, 6-3 to regain the title he last won two years ago in its previous home of Sopot.
He adds this Polish victory to ones he has already picked up in Miami and Poertschach so far this year.
But the 27-year-old world number four believed he had needed some luck after his opponent put up a good fight.
He said: "Every game in this match was difficult for me. In the first set I broke him but then he broke me back. I have to say that the last point was lucky for me.
"All Spanish players like Nadal and Robredo play a pretty similar game - not too fast with more topspin - so I have more time to prepare, but today Robredo put up a good fight."
