Top-seed Agnes Szavay crashed out of the Gastein Ladies in straight sets to Pauline Parmentier on Saturday.
She lost 6-4 6-2 to the fourth-seed, who will now face Lucie Hradecka in the final in Kitzbuhel after the Czech - who had to win three matches to get into the main draw - saw off Ukrainian Mariya Koryttseva 6-3 6-2.
Parmentier of France had to save seven break points to hold serve throughout her match, before breaking Szavay once in the opening set and twice in the second.
In her quarter-final earlier in the day, Parmentier beat last year's finalist Yvonne Meusburger of Austria 7-6 6-3.
Szavay, meanwhile, had reached the semi-finals by defeating seventh-seed Iveta Benesova 6-2 6-2, despite struggling with her serve and double-faulting eight times.
Koryttseva won 11 of the last 12 games to beat Tereza Hladikova of the Czech Republic 6-3 6-1 to set up her semi-final meeting with Hradecka, who defeated Patricia Mayr of Austria 6-3 6-1.
