Andrea Petkovic took a step closer to completing a shock WTA Tour double with victory over Olga Govortseva in their Istanbul Cup quarter-final clash on Friday.
Petkovic, ranked 61 in the world, beat seventh seed Govortseva 6-3 6-3 to move into the last four of the tournament.

Hradecka beat the unseeded Polish player 6-1 5-7 6-4 to secure her place in the last four.
Switzerland's Timea Bacsinszky demolished Urszula Radwanska of Poland 6-0 6-1 to book a semi-final showdown with fifth seed Vera Dushevina, who beat third seed Anabel Medina Garrigues 6-1 6-2.
