British number three Katie O'Brien has crashed out of the Japan Open after a 6-0 6-1 second-round defeat by top seed Caroline Wozniacki.
The Danish world number six converted six of nine break points to get the victory over O'Brien in a match that lasted just 44 minutes at the Utsubo Tennis Center in Osaka.
The US Open finalist will now face Canada's Aleksandra Wozniak in the quarter-finals, after the sixth seed advanced past Taiwan's Chang Kai-chen 7-5 7-6 (7-2)
Meanwhile, American Jill Craybas improved on a shaky start to overcome France's Mathilde Johansson 2-6 6-2 6-0.
