Bellucci: Thrilling win
Brazilian Thomaz Bellucci claimed the second ATP title of his career after victory in the Movistar Open final in Santiago.
The 22-year-old came out on top in a tense match against Juan Monaco, winning 6-2 0-6 6-4.
Bellucci, who defeated tournament favourite Fernando Gonzalez in the semi-final, looked on course for an easy victory after taking the first set comfortably.
However, a spectacular dip in form resulted in the third seed losing six consecutive games in little over half-an-hour, making 13 unforced errors.
The final set was a much tighter affair, with only five break points in the whole set, neither player was giving much away.
Bellucci crucially broke his opponent in the fifth game, with the left-hander holding onto his serve to see out the remainder of the match.
Bellucci's success means he becomes the first Brazilian to secure the Movistar Open since former world No.1 Gustavo Kuerten won the trophy back in 2000.
