Arizona Cardinals' first-round draft pick Levi Brown has put pen to paper on a new six-year deal at University of Phoenix Stadium.
The offensive tackle is guaranteed to make $18.1 million (£8.9 million), after becoming the fifth and final Cardinal 2006 draft pick to commit to the club.
He was chosen fifth overall in April's NFL draft, and will be expected to help improve Arizona's understrength offensive line.
But the rookie has missed a week of training camp, and may struggle initially to displace veteran right tackle Oliver Ross in the starting line-up.
The former Penn State star is expected to assume the position in the near future though, charged with the responsibility of protecting left-handed quarterback Matt Leinart's blind side.
Ross played 11 times in 16 games last season, amongst an offensive line that gave up 35 sacks and finished 30th in the league in rushing offence.
Arizona will hope to improve on those statistics this season, beginning with the trip to Monster Park to take on the San Francisco 49ers on September 10.
