Running back Earnest Graham will miss the rest of the season with an ankle injury, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have confirmed.
Graham was the top back for the Bucs this season, but injured his right ankle during Sunday's 19-13 victory over the Minnesota Vikings.
The 28-year-old had 131 runs for 560 yards and four touchdowns before he injured his ankle on his first rush of the game.
Former Northwestern University and Green Bay Packers reserve rusher Noah Herron has replaced Graham on the Bucs' roster.
Warrick Dunn will take up the role as lead runner for the Bucs when they play in Detroit at the weekend, with back-up from the returning Carnell 'Cadillac' Williams.
Williams has only just returned to action after a lengthy knee injury, and although the circumstances are not ideal he is ready to take his chance.
"I just hate that the situation had to be written like this, with EG (Graham) going down," Williams told Tampa Bay's website.
"That's football but I'm going to make the best out of the opportunity."
