Cowboys win third straight

Romo: picked apart Seahawks

I feel like we've gotten our swagger back, especially with Romo back. We're scoring a lot more points and he is giving us a better opportunity.

Tony Romo guided the resurgent Dallas Cowboys to a 34-9 triumph over the Seattle Seahawks on Thanksgiving Day.

Romo threw for 331 yards and three touchdowns as the Cowboys won their third straight game since his return from a finger injury.

Dallas are now 8-4 and well placed for an NFC wild card, but the victory was marred by injuries to linebacker DeMarcus Ware and running back Marion Barber.

Barber was limited to 10 carries, including a two-yard touchdown run, by a toe injury, while Ware - who accounted for three of his team's seven sacks - left the game in the third quarter due to a sprained right knee.

"I feel like we've gotten our swagger back, especially with Romo back," said Ware.

Opportunity

"We're scoring a lot more points and he is giving us a better opportunity."

The Cowboys opened a 14-0 advantage inside the first 11 minutes courtesy of Martellus Bennett's 16-yard touchdown catch and Barber's short range effort on the ground.

Olindo Mare landed a field goal from 44 yards to get the Seahawks on the board, before Romo connected with tight end Jason Witten for his second touchdown and Nick Folk added a field goal to open a 24-3 lead for the Cowboys.

And, after the Seahawks responded with two more Mare field goals, the result was sealed by a Terrell Owens touchdown grab in the third quarter and a further Folk field goal.

Seattle head coach Mike Holmgren's farewell season has turned into something of a nightmare with his side now 2-10 and bottom of the NFC West.
