Linebacker Victor Hobson has agreed to join the Arizona Cardinals on a two-year deal following the release of tight end Jerame Tuman.
The 28-year-old Hobson appeared twice for the Cincinnati Bengals this season before being released on December 16.
Hobson was also cut by the New England Patriots on August 30 having spent the pre-season at the AFC champions - while he was previously on the roster of the New York Jets for five years.
Hobson will now add depth to the Cardinals' linebacking options as Clark Haggans and rookie Ali Highsmith are both on season-ending injured reserve.
Arizona have made space on their roster after releasing Tuman, who has made just three appearances this season - making three catches for 41 yards and a touchdown.
