Rice: on Sky Sports team
Living legend Jerry Rice will be Sky Sports' very special guest for our unrivalled coverage of Super Bowl XLIII.
The three-time Super Bowl winner, 13-time Pro Bowler and record-breaking former wide receiver will be teaming up with some familiar faces for our coverage of Pittsburgh versus Atlanta from the Raymond James Stadium, Tampa.
He will be in good company because we have another Super Bowl winner on side, in the shape of former Redskins and Raiders quarterback, Jay Schroeder.
Jerry will be joining Nick Halling in the Sky Sports commentary booth for the whole game and you can pick up their words of wisdom via the red button as we go interactive - as well as being the only UK broadcaster to screen the game in high definition.
Jay meanwhile will be in the studio along with Neil Reynolds and Sky Sports' NFL anchorman, Kevin Cadle.
"It's going to be tremendous," says Cadle, who be in the hotseat as we screen the Super Bowl live for the 15th time.
"It's a great scoop for us here on Sky Sports to get Jerry Rice because he is a legend. It's a word we use too much when not many people fit in that category, but Jerry Rice is a true legend.
"We've also got a Super Bowl winner in the studio as well in the shape of Jay Shcroeder. So that's a Super Bowl winner sat with me and Neil Reynolds and another one out in Tampa with Nick Halling.
"I think we've got a pretty competent line-up and I am sure, like always, we'll have everything covered!"
Tune in to our coverage and you will get a real slice of Super Bowl's unique atmosphere with all the build-up from Tampa and a look back at how Pittsburgh from the AFC and Arizona from the NFC made it all the way to Florida.
And when the game kicks off you can choose between the American commentary from the legendary duo of Al Michaels and John Madden, or our own Sky Sports analysis with Messrs Halling and Rice.
Rice has won no fewer than three Super Bowl rings with the San Francisco 49ers between 1985 and 2000 and was also selected for the Pro Bowl no less than 13 times in a 19-year career that also took in Oakland, Seattle and Denver.
He has the most receiving yards, most touchdowns and numerous other NFL records, he has the most receptions, touchdown receptions, yards receiving, all-purpose yards and points in Super Bowl history.
