The BCCI are set to hold a meeting on Tuesday morning to decide what they will do next after suspending their tour of Australia.

The Indian cricket board are refusing to continue their four-Test tour pending the appeal against Harbhajan Singh's three-match ban for racially abusing Andrew Symonds.

The India squad was supposed to travel to Canberra on Monday ahead of a practice match, however after spending two hours sat on the team bus outside the hotel, they were sent back to their rooms.

In a statement from the BCCI, the Indians want the ICC to review the decision of match official Mike Proctor to ban Harbhajan.

The Board, though, have now said that a meeting would be held on Tuesday morning to decided on whether the players would leave Sydney or resume training.

BCCI vice-president Rajiv Shukla told Reuters: "Tomorrow at seven (7am) we have convened a working committee meeting. All these issues will be decided there.

"Officially I can only say that the team is in Sydney. Team management has already said the BCCI has given them directive to stay back in Sydney."
