Pathan: Selected alongside his half-brother
India have named uncapped pair Yusuf Pathan and Pragyan Ojha in a 15-man squad for the tri-series in Bangladesh and the Asia Cup in Pakistan.
Pathan has been called up after some excellent performances for the Rajasthan Royals with both bat and ball in the Indian Premier League.
The 25-year-old joins half-brother Irfan in the party but Sachin Tendulkar misses both tours because of a persistent groin injury.
Left-arm spinner Ojha gets the nod with Murali Karthik sidelined and Harbhajan Singh ruled out through suspension.
Harbhajan was hit with a five-game ban for slapping international team-mate Shanthakumaran Sreesanth during the IPL campaign.
India take on hosts Bangladesh and Pakistan in a three-team tournament which will be played from June 8-14.
They then move on to Pakistan for the six-team Asia Cup, which kicks off on June 24.
India squad: Mahendra Singh Dhoni (captain), Virender Sehwag, Gautam Gambhir, Robin Uthappa, Yuvraj Singh, Rohit Sharma, Irfan Pathan, Suresh Raina, Praveen Kumar, Piyush Chawla, Yusuf Pathan, Pragyan Ojha, Shanthakumaran Sreesanth, Ishant Sharma, RP Singh.
