No play at Trent Bridge on final two days
LV County Championship - Division One
Trent Bridge
Somerset 252 (P D Trego 86) v Nottinghamshire 46-2
Nottinghamshire (7pts) drew with Somerset (6pts)
The LV County Championship Division One fixture between Nottinghamshire and Somerset was abandoned as a draw without a ball being bowled on the final day.
A wet outfield at Trent Bridge prompted umpires Michael Harris and Tim Robinson to call off proceedings prior to the scheduled 11.00am start.
It was the second day in succession that play was totally washed in the top-of-the-table clash.
Somerset remain in second, four points behind leaders Nottinghamshire, who have played a game more.

Day two
A belligerent half century from Peter Trego gave Somerset renewed hope of getting something out of the game against Notts.
Starting the match three points behind their rivals Trego and Andy Caddick ensured they picked up two batting points with a ninth wicket stand of 90, the former blasting a season's best 86 from 108 balls.
Left-arm seamer Charl Willoughby then claimed two scalps in an over after rain intervened, as Notts reached 46 for two in reply at the close with more bad weather forecast.
Somerset resumed their innings on 143 for seven with Trego unbeaten on 17, although he soon lost Alfonso Thomas in the second full over, lbw to Charlie Shreck.
The wicket prompted Trego to go on to the attack and the 27-year-old produced some powerful strokes off the front and back foot to take the initiative away from the home side.
But sensing a first ton of the season, Trego holed out to Graeme Swann, who had missed the first day's play due to England commitments, Mark Wagh taking a running catch at deep mid-wicket.
Swann followed up by bowling Willoughby, leaving Caddick stranded on 35, rain then preventing the Nottinghamshire reply from resuming until 5pm, with Bilal Shafayat surviving an appeal for a low catch at cover and a drop by Wes Durston at gully.
His opening partner Will Jefferson was not so fortunate as he edged Willoughby to wicketkeeper Craig Kieswetter immediately after the ball had been replaced, with nightwatchman Andre Adams driving loosely to gully four deliveries later.
Day one
Nottinghamshire gained the early advantage in their clash with Somerset at Trent Bridge, reducing the visitors to 143-7 before rain ended play early.
England international Darren Pattinson picked up 3-51 on a eventful opening day between two teams firmly in the hunt for the Division One title.
Despite some battling displays from the lower order, skipper Justin Langer may look back and regret his decision to bat first after winning the toss.
The Australian fell to the first ball of the match, Charlie Shreck trapping him leg before to pass 50 Championship wickets for the season.
Marcus Trescothick attempted to steady the ship but after Pattinson removed Zander de Bruyn, the left-handed opener lost his off stump to an excellent delivery from Andre Adams when on 35.
James Hildreth and Wes Durston perished soon after to leave the score on 51-5 and after hitting a breezy 24 from 25 balls, Ian Blackwell became the sixth wicket to go down in the last over before lunch.
Craig Kieswetter was the only batsman to perish before the weather wiped out play, the wicketkeeper managing a top score of 39.
