Australia celebrate 3-0 series win
Australia completed a 3-0 series whitewash of Bangladesh as they won the third and final one-dayer in Darwin by 73 runs.
Having won the toss and opted to bat, the hosts posted a modest total of 198-5 from their 50 overs with Mike Hussey - later to be named player of the series - top-scoring with 57.
Bangladesh briefly threatened a huge upset as they reached 82-3 on the back of an impressive half-century from teenager Tamim Iqbal.
But the youngster received little support, only Shakib Al Hasan (27) and Abdur Razzak reaching double figures as the Tigers crumbled to 125 all out.
Still without the likes of Ricky Ponting, Andrew Symonds, Brett Lee and Matthew Hayden, Australia named an unchanged side from the team that cruised to a comfortable victory in the second match of the series on Sunday.
Opener Shaun Marsh, who made back-to-back half-centuries in the opening two games, produced another solid knock of 30 before being bowled by Farhad Reza.
Shane Watson (27), skipper Michael Clarke (25) and David Hussey (11) all then contrived to run themselves out going for quick singles as the hosts struggled to find any momentum.
Eventually it was left to Hussey and Cameron White - who ended on 22 not out from 24 balls - to drag them up to a respectable total as they put on 48 for the sixth wicket.
In reply, Bangladesh were in trouble early on after Junaid Siddique succumbed for a duck to Stuart Clark in the second over with skipper Mohammad Ashraful (three) falling to the same bowler soon afterwards following a smart catch from Clarke in the gully.
Iqbal and Hasan put on 60 for the fourth wicket, but once the latter had become the first of three victims for James Hopes, the tourists succumbed meekly.
Iqbal, the penultimate man out, was eventually caught by Clark off the bowling of Watson, with David Hussey wrapping up another comfortable victory when he bowled Razzak.
