Worcestershire have switched their remaining home games to Kidderminster after New Road was again hit by flooding.

It is the latest set-back for the county, whose suffered heavy financial losses when New Road suffered major flooding last year.

Worcestershire chief executive Mark Newton confirmed that Kidderminster will host his club's last two home fixtures, both against Middlesex, in the NatWest Pro40 League next Sunday and LV County Championship Division Two on September 17.

"Following Graeme Hick's announcement about his retirement from county cricket at the end of the season, interest in these two fixtures has been immense," said Newton.

"Cricket followers throughout the country want to see his last few innings at New Road but the irony is that he started his cricket in England at Kidderminster.

"We hope that our members and supporters will make every effort to come to the cricket and give Graeme the send-off he deserves as the team look to finish off the season as Division Two champions."
