Bangladesh have included three newcomers in a 14-man squad for the one-day series against New Zealand.
Opener Imrul Kayes, middle-order batsman Naeem Islam and paceman Mahbubul Alam Robin all earn their first call ups.
"Kayes and Naeem are talented young batsmen while Robin has proved his worth as a medium-fast bowler. We have high hopes on them," chief selector Rafiqul Alam told AFP.
Wicketkeeper Mushfiqur Rahim and fit-again seamer Syed Rasel have both been recalled, while all 13 players who recently defected to the unsanctioned Indian Cricket League were overlooked.
The three-match ODI series starts in Mirpur on Thursday with Alam hopeful of success.
"We hope we can win at least one match in the series," he said.
