McLaren: remaining loyal to Kent
Ryan has always recognised the commitment he has made to Kent cricket - and while we know that he is flattered by the approach from Cricket South Africa we are, of course, delighted that he has acknowledged that his contractual commitments to the club must stand.

Quotes of the week
The tug of war over Ryan McLaren's future has been resolved in favour of Kent.
McLaren is contracted to the county until the end of the 2010 season and recently turned down a call-up to his native South Africa's one-day squad.
The 25-year-old did so in order to preserve his Kolpak status, which allows him to play English domestic cricket as a non-overseas player due to his Scottish ancestry, despite having been born and raised in South Africa.
"We have been in regular discussions with Ryan and his agent Arthur Turner over the last few days following Cricket South Africa's approach to Ryan," Kent chief executive Paul Millman told his county's official website.
"Ryan has always recognised the commitment he has made to Kent cricket - and while we know that he is flattered by the approach from Cricket South Africa we are, of course, delighted that he has acknowledged that his contractual commitments to the club must stand."
