Will Darren Gough build on a promising first campaign in charge of Yorkshire? Are Somerset or Nottinghamshire best equipped to bridge the gap between the two divisions after being promoted?

Notts will finish in the top two of the County Championship and at last win another one-day trophy.

Why do the commentators never mention Jade Dernbach's stats as he currently has the best one day domestic stats for bowling in the country, yet he is never mentioned and the commentators seem to focus on players that are either not playing or overseas players that could potentially one day play for England if they choose, eyt Jade now qualifies for England and no mention is made of him.

Chris Adams will be bringing in the crown this year to get the well deserved hat-trick of titles. Sussex have added to their already excellent squad and seem to have a much stronger side than last year. We have a excellent bowling line-up and a very good batting line-up so there is no real reason as to why we cannot do it again.

Does no-one fancy Warwickshire this year??? They have bought in new players and the players from last season are just as good as they were last year,if not better. Lee Daggett has come on leaps and bounds over the winter and no-one seems to mention him!! Also, with people like Allan Donald in the setup, I think that Warwickshire are going to be a major force in Division 2 and I think they will shoot straight back up to Division 1. Last year was a just a one off!!

Durham had a great season last year, winning the Friends Provident and the Pro 40 division 2. I think that they will build on that success this year with the county championship and the Friends Provident again. Come on Durham!

Being a Somerset Sabres fan I have to fancy our chances this up and coming season; the squad has talent in all areas and there is a mix of youth and seniors. Disappointed to see Matthew Wood go, but James Hildreth will play for England soon and with Justin Langer, Marcus Trescothick, Neil Edwards, Andrew Caddick, Craig Kieswetter, Ian Blackwell and Andrew Caddick we willl have a real go against other contenders in Sussex and Lancashire. We must win at least one trophy with the squad we have.

Cannot understand why Sussex have two Division One games at Hove during April, where the likelihood of a clear result is highly unlikely. This only leaves four more Hove homes games for the rest of the summer. Watching cricket during the month of April does not feature in many supporters diaries. From a disappointed Sussex supporter for many years.

After watching Wales win the six nations, Ospreys winning EDF Cup, Cardiff City reaching the FA cup final, Swans getting promotion, Joe sorting Bernard out, you've got to fancy Glamorgan to come up trumps, no pressure! WELSH AND PROUD.

It will be a great season this year weather permitting. I fancy Lancashire, Somerset and Sussex to be top contenders in Division One, but it is hard to say as it is closely matched. Division Two will also be intresting and I'm hoping Middlesex get promoted.
