All eyes will be on Tiger Woods - yet again - when he attempts to make it four straight wins over Doral's 'Blue Monster' course in this week's CA Championship.

PGA Tour stats package

The world number one posted back-to-back triumphs in the Ford Championships of 2005 and 2006 and returned to Doral 12 months later to make it a hat-trick of victories when the venue hosted its maiden WGC event.

Since the first WGC tournament was staged nine years ago, Tiger has won a remarkable 15 out of the 26 he has entered. And another success this week would make it four WGC wins in a row since last March.

Even in a field that can boast all the leading players in the game, Tiger will still start as hot favourite.

In under 12 years as a pro, Tiger has taken his career prize money on the PGA Tour close to the $80m mark.

A good first round on Thursday at Doral will more than likely signal another $1m pay weekend for the 32-year-old American, while leaving the rest of a quality field to chase second place.

As for those charged with getting the better of Tiger:

Aaron Baddeley: Gave Tiger his toughest game at the WGC Match Play event last month - the Australian finally giving way after extra-holes in Arizona.

Angel Cabrera: Another suitable candidate to succeed at Doral where the Argentinian has carded two top-10 finishes in his last six starts. Cabrera did get the better of Tiger at Oakmont's US Open last year when the world No 1 had to settle for a share of second place.

Jim Furyk: A former winner over the 'Blue Monster' and one of the few Americans who appear mentally strong enough to cope with Woods.

Ernie Els: Beat Tiger into second place over the 'Blue Monster' in 2002 and is already a winner in the States this year.

Vijay Singh: Although the Fijian has never won at Doral, his record in Miami is still fairly impressive. Last five visits read: 3-5-3-15-11.

Lee Westwood: In the past year has started to show the same high level of consistency he produced when among the world's top-10. Has the game to prosper over the daunting 'Blue Monster'.
