Greg Norman will return to European Tour action next season when he takes part in the Johnnie Walker Classic in Perth.
The Australian, who proved he can still compete with the best in the Open Championship recently, has agreed to play in the event also sanctioned by the Asian and Australasian tours.
"It will be a great treat to be competing back on home soil in Australia, especially in Perth, which offers great weather, a fantastic championship course at The Vines and a wonderful backdrop for a tournament," said the 53-year-old.
The tournament, which takes place from February 19-22, has toured the sub-continent since 1990, with Norman winning in 1994 when it was held at the Blue Canyon Country Club in Phuket, Thailand.
The defending champion is Mark Brown of New Zealand, who won by three shots in Gurgaon, India, in March.
