Gleneagles in Scotland plays host to the final qualifying event to select Europe's Ryder Cup team.

With five spots already bagged from last weekend - via the 'World List'- the last group of automatic qualifiers will be finalised in Perthshire with five more names to be taken from the 'Euro Money List'.

After that skipper Nick Faldo will complete the line-up by naming his two wild cards.

The Johnnie Walker Championship returns to picturesque Gleneagles where the Jack Nicklaus-designed Centenary Course will be staging a European Tour event for the 10th successive year.

The 15-year-old venue is undulating, as you might expect from a course surrounded by rolling countryside, and in six years time will be hosting the Ryder Cup.

But as for this week who are the players to keep an eye on?

Soren Hansen: A nervous week ahead for the Dane who is hoping to secure his place in Europe's Ryder Cup team. Hansen, who would become a Ryder rookie should he qualify automatically, has posted top-three finishes in his two most recent visits to Gleneagles.

Raphael Jacquelin: Four of his last five trips to the Perthshire glen have produced top-12 finishes.

Colin Montgomerie: The 'last chance saloon' regarding Ryder Cup selection. However, it is difficult to see Monty being handed a wild card by skipper Nick Faldo even if he does perform well at Gleneagles. Whatever his form this week, the big Scot is likely to face severe media scrutiny on home turf.

Marc Warren: Defending champion has hit form in recent weeks with a T30 at the Scandinavian Masters followed by a tied-fourth place finish in Holland last week. On home soil he will be keen to put up a solid defence.

Lee Westwood: Requires a confidence boosting display following his dismal performance at the recent USPGA Championship where he missed the cut and severely criticised the set up of Oakland Hills.

Justin Rose: Changed his schedule to stay on in Europe in a bid to cement his Ryder Cup place by right, earning the respect of his peers. Has been unable to find top form in recent weeks and will be looking to qualify in style at Gleneagles.
