Letzig: In front
Michael Letzig climbed back to the top of the leaderboard at the Ginn sur Mer Classic after three late birdies in his third round.
The American had a share of the first round lead and three birdies in the last six holes gave him a two-under round of 70 and saw him move to the top of the leaderboard.
Letzig sits on seven-under after three rounds and leads by one shot after Ryan Palmer hit the water on his final round.
Palmer now sits in a three-way tie for second on six-under alongside Kenneth Ferrie and John Huston after their rounds of 67 and 70 respectively.
Palmer bogeyed three of his last four holes to drop from nine-under at the Ginn Ocean Hammock Resort.
David Duval was looming large just two shots off the pace going into the third round but he took a double bogey on the third hole and never recovered to card a 74 and in a tie for 14th.
