Tiger Woods is continuing to make steady progress in his recovery from knee surgery with his return to action on schedule.
The world number one has been sidelined since his US Open triumph at Torrey Pines back in June where he played with cruciate ligament damage and a double stress-fracture of his left tibia.
The 32-year-old subsequently underwent surgery to correct the problem and has been in rehabilitation to regain full fitness ever since.
Woods has revealed he has suffered no problems in his recovery and has now started to chip and putt the ball in practice again.
"The knee is progressing," he told his official website. "I'm working hard every day and there have been no setbacks.
"I've actually started to do a little chipping and putting, but no full swings. That's not going to happen until early next year."
Although he has set no time-frames for his comeback, it is understood the American is hoping to be fully fit and back in action in time for the first major of next year, The Masters at Augusta in early April.
