Henrik Stenson eased to a nine-shot victory at the Nedbank Challenge with a closing 68.
The Swede's four-under effort gave him a 21-under-par total, well clear of his nearest rival Kenny Perry at the lucrative 12-man event in Sun City.
He started the final round with an eight-stroke advantage and never came under any pressure, steering clear of any bogeys until the final hole.
Stenson picked up a solitary shot on the front nine before a flurry of four birdies in six holes from the turn ended any lingering suspense about the outcome.
"An eight-shot lead going into the final round made me feel pretty comfortable, and I just went out there and took care of business," said Stenson after receiving the $1.2 million winner's cheque.
"It was a bit slow in the first nine, but I seem to like the homeward nine here, and I got the birdies going again."
Perry signed for a best-of-the-day 65, including successive birdies to finish, to secure second spot at 12-under-par, three ahead of Robert Karlsson.
Stenson's compatriot had started out as his nearest challenger but had to settle for third after only managing a level-par 72.
South African Rory Sabbatini (70) was a shot behind Karlsson in fourth, while Ryder Cup team-mates Sergio Garcia and Lee Westwood - who returned rounds of 70 and 72 respectively - finished a further stroke back.
Luke Donald's (75) comeback from a serious wrist injury saw him finish 11th on four-over-par. Spain's Miguel Angel Jimenez (69) propped up the field on five-over.
