Monty: Solid record
A tip-top field has assembled for this week's French Open at Le Golf National near Paris.
With The Open just a couple of weeks away, a number of leading Europeans are back on their home continent getting ready for the Turnberry major.
Once again, and for the 17th time in the course's history, the Paris venue will be holding France's national open.
The 19-year-old American-style stadium course has plenty of water and undulations, and is also a decent test of a player's ability.
Angel Cabrera: The Masters champion will be keen to post his first top-10 finish since Augusta.
Soren Hansen: A great Le Golf National record where he has enjoyed three top-three finishes in his last four visits - albeit without a victory.
Soren Kjeldsen:The consistent Dane finished in a tie-for ninth in Munich on Sunday and is now up to 36th in the world rankings.
Colin Montgomerie: Will hope that his recent Le Golf National record will continue this week. Monty, a winner here in 2000, has been third and second in each of the past two years.
Ian Poulter: The world No 16 has posted three runner-up finishes in the past 12 months - although has not tasted victory since the autumn of 2007.
Graeme Storm: The 2007 French Open winner was a top-six finisher in Munich at the weekend.
