For the second time in three weeks, the game's leading pros meet up for a World Golf Championship event on American soil.

Stats package

This week's CA Championship is being staged in Miami, Florida, where the highly-regarded Blue Monster course at Doral plays host to the season's second WGC tournament.

Although world No 1 Tiger Woods remains on the absent list, this week's field is littered with star names.

Phil Mickelson is the defending champion on a course where his last 24 rounds average 69.04.

The 49-year-old venue is renowned for having plenty of water as well as more than 100 bunkers.

So who's likely to be challenging Lefty this Thursday?

Paul Casey: Is currently in excellent form. A runner-up in last month's WGC Match Play tournament, Casey was tied-fourth at Palm Beach on Sunday.

Jim Furyk: Has endured a mediocre start to the season but if any venue is likely to stir the 39-year-old into life then this is it. Winner here in 2000, Furyk has since posted three top-three finishes at Doral including second place in 2008 and third last year.

Zach Johnson: The owner of a decent Doral record where his 22 rounds average 69.95.

Vijay Singh: Enjoyed his best finish for some time in last week's Honda Classic where he tied-for-fourth. The 47-year-old Fijian has an excellent Florida record and has twice been a runner-up at Doral.

Camilo Villegas: Can the Colombian maintain his excellent run of form this week? A semi-finalist in Arizona in February, Villegas posted a top-10 finish seven days later and won last week's Honda Classic by five strokes. He was also second at Doral in 2006.

Lee Westwood: Although Westwood has struggled over the Blue Monster in previous visits, this course favours good ball strikers and the Englishman is certainly one of the world's best in this category.
