Every week during the season, we bring you all the facts and figures you need to stay one step ahead of the bookies...or at least give them a run for their money!

While the European and PGA Tours have wound down for a winter break, this week still sees exclusive big-money events in both South Africa and America.

For the 30th year, Sun City hosts the annual Nedbank Challenge with an elite 12-man field having asssembled in South Africa's North West Province.

World No.1 Lee Westwood headlines the event and has been joined by the likes of Padraig Harrington, Ross Fisher and defending champion Robert Allenby, while Ernie Els, Retief Goosen and Open champion Louis Oosthuizen will carry home hopes.

Across the pond, a high-quality 16-man line-up will fight it out at the 11th edition of the Tiger Woods-hosted Chevron World Challenge.

Sherwood Country Club in Southern California once again stages the event and a host of star names will be present including European stars Rory McIlroy, Graeme McDowell, Luke Donald, Ian Poulter and Paul Casey.

Leading the strong American contingent will be Woods, FedEx Cup champion Jim Furyk and world number five Steve Stricker.
