Winky: Oscar, Oscar and Oscar
He's fought all of the best fighters of his era except for me, and I've fought all of the best from this era except for him so it only makes sense for the two of us to give the fans what they want.
Winky on Oscar
Quotes of the week
Winky Wright has stepped up his hunt for Oscar de la Hoya.
The Florida southpaw says the Golden Boy is the only fight he wants following his recent points loss to Bernard Hopkins.
Wright began calling him out in the build-up to his megafight with the Executioner - de la Hoya's business partner - in July.
And despite coming out on the wrong end of a unanimous decision, Winky wants to back that up with another stellar showdown.
"Oscar. Oscar and Oscar. That's who I want to fight the most," he told boxingtalk.com
"People been wanting to see Oscar in a really exciting fight and Oscar's been wanting to give the fans a really exciting fight.
"He's fought all of the best fighters of his era except for me, and I've fought all of the best from this era except for him so it only makes sense for the two of us to give the fans what they want."
De la Hoya has not boxed since losing to Floyd Mayweather in May, but only recently put his name forward as a possible opponent for Ricky Hatton.
He has lost three out of his last five fights - to Shane Mosley, Hopkins and Mayweather.
