Hatton and Mayweather square up at the weigh in
Ricky Hatton weighed in at 145 pounds - two pounds under the limit - for Saturday's WBC welterweight title showdown with Floyd Mayweather at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
It is just the second time the Manchester fighter has stepped up to fight in the welterweight division, the previous occasion being in May 2006 when he laboured to a points success against Luis Collazo.
Hatton's travelling army of fans were in full voice throughout the weigh-in, at which a host of boxing greats from the past and present were in attendance, including British world champions Joe Calzaghe and Enzo Maccarinelli.
Mayweather, whose previous contest against Oscar de la Hoya in May took place at light-middleweight, also looked in top condition as he scaled bang on the limit of 147 pounds.
The self-styled 'Pretty Boy', entered the weigh-in to a chorus of boos and went eye-ball to eye-ball with Hatton as both men took their final opportunity to taunt each other.
Hatton took the microphone to thank his fans for making the trip across the Atlantic.
"What I can say for a turn-out like that?," he said. "Absolutely fantastic."
