Gavin Rees says he would give Amir Khan a 'right good pasting', and wants to meet the Bolton boxer after he defeats Andreas Kotelnik in Cardiff on Saturday.
The Welshman defends his WBA light-welterweight crown at the CIA against his mandatory challenger on Saturday, and he knows his immediate opponent does pose a big danger.
Rees is undefeated and won his title against Souleymane M'Baye last summer, and he believes he will have to be at his best to stay unbeaten on Saturday.
'The Rock' does not think Kotelnik can beat him, but is prepared for the fight to go the distance if he has to.
"Kotelnik is a good fighter, and I know I'll have my work cut out to beat him," said Rees.
"But I'm in the shape of my life and ready to go 12 hard rounds against anyone. I don't believe Kotelink can beat me."
The 27-year-old is gagging to have a shot at Commonwealth lightweight champion Khan, who he thinks has been doing too much talking.
Rees says that he will be calling out Khan as soon as he has dealt with Kotelnik, and has predicted a heavy loss for the young Bolton man.
"He's been opening his gob a lot recently, but if he does that when he's near me I'll stick my fist straight in it," said Rees at a public work out on Wednesday.
"Khan reckons he's Mr Big, but put him in the ring with me and I'll give him a right good pasting. I really believe I'll smash him to pieces.
"After I've sent Kotelnik packing I'll be straight on the phone to our promoter Frank Warren begging him to get the Khan fight done, because I'll knock him out in six rounds."
