Roach: Lined up to work with Khan
Amir Khan's camp have denied reports that the 21-year-old has already agreed to work with American trainer Freddie Roach.
Khan spent the weekend training with Roach at his Wild Car gym in Los Angeles as he looks to bounce back from his shock 54-second knockout defeat to Breidis Prescott in Manchester.
The Olympic silver medallist is due to make his comeback in December - and having split from Jorge Rubio after just one fight in the wake of his defeat to Prescott, Khan is looking for a new trainer.
Reports have linked Roach to the role, with the three-time Boxing Writers Association of America trainer of the year claiming an agreement is in place for Khan to spend six weeks training with him prior to his return.
However Khan's father Shah has insisted a final decision has yet to be made - with the possibility of Rubio remaining involved.
Shah told PA Sport: "Obviously this trip was just to see Freddie and work with him but we'll get back home and Amir will have a think and decide what to do.
"It's gone well but it's Amir's decision to make.
"There is the possibility of us still working with Rubio. He showed us some good things. He won't be the main trainer, but there is the possibility he could still be involved."
