Vitali Klitschko will defend his WBC heavyweight title against Cuba's Juan Carlos Gomez.
The 6ft 7in Ukrainian had agreed to fight Britain's David Haye in June but the WBC says he must grant the Cuban number-one contender a shot.
Gomez, a 35-year-old southpaw has lost one of his 46 fights, compared to Klitschko's 36-2 record, though both his defeats were forced through retirement, most notably against Britain's Lennox Lewis.
The fight will take place on March 21 in Stuttgart.
This may leave Klitschko's brother, Wladimir, the WBO and IBF champion to take on Haye in the interim, though nothing has been confirmed by either camps.
