Khan: fight postponed
Amir Khan's world title shot against Andreas Kotelnik has been postponed for three weeks following an injury to the Ukrainian.
Khan was due to challenge for Kotelnik's WBA light-welterweight title in London on Saturday June 27, but the fight has now been rescheduled for Saturday July 18.
The postponement means 22-year-old Bolton fighter Khan, fresh from defeating modern-day legend Marco Antonio Barrera in his last outing, will have to wait a little bit longer for his first crack at a world title.
The undercard for the fight, which will be live on Sky Box Office, will remain the same and will feature Olympic trio James DeGale, Frankie Gavin and Billy Joe Saunders continuing their professional careers with the boxing world watching.
The bill will also see Matthew Hall and showman Anthony Small battling it out for the British and Commonwealth light-middleweight titles.
