Ricky "The Hitman" Hatton will take centre stage on Monday night where he is scheduled to be the special guest host of WWE's flagship Monday Night RAW in Sheffield, England.
Hatton is the latest in a long line of celebrity guest hosts for the show which in recent months has featured the likes of Floyd Mayweather Jr, Snoop Dogg, and more recently Ozzy & Sharon Osbourne.
Hatton said in a press release: "As a youngster, I was a fan of WWE, and I'm still a big fan now. This is something I'm really excited about doing, especially so close to my hometown. I think my son is even more excited about it than I am.''
A former World Welterweight champion, Hatton is no stranger to being in the spotlight. The pride of Manchester is regarded as one of the more charismatic boxing entertainers of his generation.
The Hitman is an extraordinary 45-2 in his career, with 32 knockout victories to flaunt. Hatton, most recently, was involved in one of 2009's most highly-anticipated bouts when he took on Manny Pacquiao in May.
The superstars of the WWE are in the UK this week for the much anticipated DX Invasion tour, which is coming to a number of cities including Glasgow, Liverpool, London and Newcastle.
