Love him or loathe him, you can't help but listen to Floyd Mayweather!
So here is a feature-length exclusuve interview with the man who calls himself Money, conducted by Adam Smith for Sky Sports News just hours after Manny Pacquiao had destroyed Miguel Cotto.
Of course, the mouthwatering showdown with Pac Man is the first topic that comes up - and is brought back up again - but from then on it is pure Mayweather.
And no-one escapes... not Ricky Hatton, not Freddie Roach, not Bob Arum, not Oscar de la Hoya not Juan Manuel Marquez. And certainly not Pac Man!
Your chance to see if you are fitter than Nathan Cleverly and Enzo Maccarinelli - and it's all for charity!
Jim Watt and Adam Smith talk Martin Lindsay, Manny Pacquiao and of course, David Haye...
Floyd Mayweather's WBA Welterweight clash with Shane Mosley, on May 1, will be live on Sky Sports.

i just seen a comment there by james barnett saying mayweather was lucky against hatton. Thats just sour grapes. people have to accept that mayweather was far far far too good for hatton it was an easy decision. Manny will give him a far better matchup but i still think floyd will reclaim pound for pound. And i dont think anyone can acheive pound for pound status if they run from a fight james.

All of you mayweather haters need to appreciate the word boxing! manny pacquaio is a brawler, very similar to hatton, juan manuel marquez, the typical toe to toe fighter. He has no plan B. Now lets talk about floyd. Beano smalls what you said on the previous page is nonsense. Hatton destroyed castillo in 4 rounds, and matweather struggled against castillo. What happeend when mayweather and hatton fought. Hatton was dusted off and got taken to school, just like anybody mayweather fights. It doesnt work like that, just because pac man nailed hatton and cotto, it doesnt mean hes going to walk in the ring and beat floyd. Ohhh no no no, floyd will adapt to any style, and just counter act it with his own style! phenominal defense plus lightning counter punching = undefeated. Period. Yeah floyd does trash talk, he is arrogant, but so what, he backs it up every time. Ducked fighters? thats just a joke. As far the de la hoya fight, just for the record, floyd threw 100 punches less, yet landed 50% more. Hes incredibly accurate, and you might wana start betting your money now, floyd mayweather will destroy manny pacquaio. if he wants to knock him out he will, if he wants to win on points he will. Just because he can. Why? because he is the greatest boxer to walk this planet. The greatest defensive skills, greatest accuracy, one of the greatest records, and the most intelligent boxing brains ever. Im sorry all you haters buts the the damn truth, hes well and truly blessed and bet your money after this he will still be undefeated. Cotto and hatton are sitting ducks, and just because manny has had a good few years i wouldnt jump on the bandwagon. He has weaknesses, and like floyd says, when he beats the pac man everyone well say, well yeh you shouldve beaten him, its happened before. Manny has one thing thats an advantage, that his personality. Hes a top guy. But come fight night, sorry, thats gona count for nothing! FloydIsKing

In my opinion mayweather could have been the best boxer of all time if only he fought a few fighters in their prime such as Cotto( before the Margarito fight), Mosley and margarito. Instead he chose the easier way out and fought Hatton( who is naturual light-welter, 140) and marquez( who never fought at welter). I thought Hatton lost against Collozo at 147, so he was never gonna beat Mayweather. Pacman is the living legend, fought the best featherweights of his time, probz regarded best featherweight of all time. Prediction- Mayweathers defense is crazy, his gonna want to try and control the fight from the start. He would never have faced an aggressor like manny. Mayweather will land clean shots because mannys defense is not that good. However i do believe that pacman will make mayweather fight and Roach and crew's plan would be to take mayweather to decision victory by imposing on Mayweather and taking control of the first four rounds. Previouslly Judah took control of mayweather in the opening rounds but then lost it at the end. The thing is no one has knocked out mayweather or even merely troubled him. We don't know his true capability and thats why I only see a mayweather SPLIT decision. I'm huge pacman fan, i support him but if we get down and analyse boxing skills/ability theres no one like floyd.

Some things that are being said on here are ridiculous. Mayweather is with ease in the top 10 boxers of all time. The british fans do love him and to have him fight in this country would be amazing. Who said he needs to fight mosely, when mosely has ducked him twice! He will beat manny, altho it may not be a knockout he will dominate the fight and make him look silly. Half of the British public just moan because their either jealous or have nothing better to do. Come on Floyd destroy manny and shut these people up!

I can't wait until Mayweather fights Pacquaio. Opinions are opinions, but facts are that of the two only one is undefeated. They both fought Marquez and only one of the two clearly beat Marquez. Please make it happen. Can't wait. Although I don't normally gamble, I'm definitely going to gamble then and put money on Money.

Why can't Floyd & Pacquiao come to an agreement where they both pick up a guaranteed 40% each of the purse. They both agree to put the remaining 20% into a pot that is picked up by the winner of the fight. The best man therefore picks up a 60-40 split. End this ego trip and get the fight on and everyone is a winner.

With all respect to Manny his a very good fighter but no one absolute none comes close to Floyds technical ability whens the last time his been cut knocked down people need to understand the name of the game is to hit and not be hit back he beat corrales, costillo, manfredy, judah, gatti, hatton, de la hoya when they were all in their prime name me another fighter that can do that and come through unscathed boxings an art not a savage tear up thats UFC. Mayweather may not gone down with sugar ray as number one but he is the ultimate defensive genius even better than pernell whitaker please research the sport

Pros and cons on both sides. What i like about Pac is that he's gone up so many weight divs and always gone for the best. Hatton was universally recognized as the best light welter when Pac fought him. Cotto (besides Floyd who i don't think was active when the fight was made) was recognized by most as the best welter. Against that i suppose (reCotto) folk could say hewasweight starved and that it might have been a different fight had the fight actually been made at welter. Re Floyd , he obviously beat JMM more convincingly than Pac did but Pac fought JMM on even terms. Still a great display for a comebacking fighter. However when you think about it Floyd has not fought thee best welters or even light welters. Re Hatton - he never fought him at light welter and i don't see the names of Cotto , Marg , Mosley or Williams on Floyd's record. At the moment i think Floyd (provided he wasn't made to take off too much weight) would outpoint Pac as he's the naturally bigger man. Heart says Pac - brain Floyd Sorry

Mayweather Sr. said it beautifully after the Pacquiao-Cotto fight, if it were him,he wouldn't let his lil' Floyd get into the ring with Pacman. Prerty much says it all. Lastly, one should not carry his chair calling himself he's the greatest....it should be the FANS of boxing who should be made judge to that! Mayweather says that all the time,PACMAN just says he's just an ordinary fighter but people tell him he's one of the greatest. BIG DIFFERENCE!!! PACMAN fights bigger fighters than him,Mayweather cherrypicks the smaller ones. No wonder he is undefeated.

Floyd will KO Manny. Wait and see. When the fight happens, there is no doubt that Floyd will destroy the Pacman. He's the best in the world by a long way. Manny is made for Floyd. Manny's attacking style will walk right into Floyd's counter-punching style. The best counter-punch the world has ever seen. Floyd is the best boxer in the world, people just don't like him. But he's still the best by a long way. I'll be surprised if he ever loses.

Mayweather runs. Simple as that. He knows Mosley would play with him. Stop running. Square up Mayweather and box. You were lucky against Hatton. Couldnt cope but then your husband Joe Cortez kept pulling Hatton away coz you moaned like the little running baby you are. Box properly. At least Roy Jones Jnr when he fought on the ropes he would come out and box properly in spurts. You may as well get glued to the rope. Its pathetic to watch and its not worth the money you demand. I would pay ten times more to watch Pacquiao fight than you. I would even pay more to watch Amir Khan. At least he goes forward and doesn't flap it like a wasteman.

Floyd Mayweather struggled with 2 fighters in particular. Zab Judah and Jose Luis Castillo. For the first 4 rounds, Zab neutralised Floyd with his southpaw speed and power but hit him with a low blow, lost his cool and fell to pieces. Castillo pushed Mayweather for the full 12 rounds and pushed him to the limit. The problem was that he started slow. Put the two together and taking into account that Pacquiao starts fast and sticks to his gameplan, he will beat Pretty Boy Floyd.

i am amazed at the disrespect towards Mayweather from people on this page and in the sporting world. Yes he is flash and brash, but when you are that good, you can be. I am as big a Ricky Hatton fan as you will ever meet, but lets be fair, Mayweather took him apart and he was never anywhere near the same since that beating. Manny Pacquiao is a tremendous fighter, who surprised me yet again with his performance on Saturday night. he was truly brilliant. But with respect, Hatton & Cotto are not great movers with great defenses and were way past there bests after the wars they'd had over the years. Mayweather has never been down, never been hurt, never marked up. His skills are un-matched and although it would be an amazing fight, Mayweather would prevail as he has the tools to beat pacman. He always does enough to win. He also deserves the lions share of the purse as he is the the undefeated pound for pound king. People will pay the pay-per-view money to see if Mayweather gets knocked out, he is generating the money!

Mayweather v Pacquiao is a match up that needs to happen! It is a head to head clash that comes along with the Hagler - Hearns and the Roberto Duran days. Pacquiao has had a brilliant 2 years, though Oscar's career was just about coming to a hault, Hatton's style suited Pacman; aggressive and careless, when they met in the centre of the ring everyone knew who would come out worse. Why I think Mayweather will beat Pacquiao; he has 5 inches reach on him with a lightning jab coming behind it. This would frustrate Pacman. Mayweather will let Pacquiao come to him, hit him then outta there. Down on points, Pacquiao would push for a k.o and Floyd then has the timing and ability to catch him off balance. Floyd will bring the pace down to his level because fighters know when they come in at him that they're getting hit! He is as accurate as it gets, and when he hits, he's gone. He is sublime and deserves more than what he gets. If Pacman does care about his legacy and not soo much about the cash, he will give Mayweather the bigger chunk of the cake and make this fight happen. If it doesn't come off... we know who has brought it to a halt.

This interview shows how big headed and arrogant this man can be. He is the best of his generation and a potentail best ever but he shows no one any respect and complains he doesnt get any back. Pacquiao would beat mayweather and he is using the purse money as a way to get out of his first lose. I also dont believe he can compare records with pacquiao because pacman has had 15 more fights than him. forget the money mayweather prove for once and for all you are the best and show some respect!!!

Floyd says it how he sees it but sometimes he sees it differently to the rest of us. Saying that he is a great boxer, got an insane defence and if he was from England he'd have the most amzing following and he knows it and was obviously jealous of Hatton's support!

Why should floyd even explain if how good he is... Insecurity.... Thats the word. Grow up floyd. Your to old for this stuff... He's always been talking about these kind of stuff and yet he couldn't answer simple questions. Why didn't he fought cotto, mosley, margarito. He's saying that margarito took something out of cotto... Why didn't he fought cotto when he returned? Grow up. Stop crying like a child... If your really great, then people will talk about your greatness. Not you forcing people to hear that your a great fighter. Come on you look like an amateur discrediting a champion in this interview. What a shame...

I cant believe what Floyd Mayweather is saying. When he talks about how Manny Pacquiao avoided the question about fight Floyd by saying hes going to take a vacation and talk to his promoter. If you watch Floyd Mayweathers interview with Brian Kenny the day after the Pac vs Hatton fight. Brian Kenny repeatedly asks Floyd about fighting Manny. Floyd answers back each time with 'Leonard Ellerebe and Al Hayman do a great job etc.'. And when floyd talks about if he beats him people are going to say thats hes a bigger man, he shoud have won anyway. So why did you fight Marquez, Hatton (from lower weight divisions), why didnt Floyd fight Cotto, Mosley, Margarito who are legitimate welterweights.

If people genuinely believe that Mayweather is boring then they are deluded, this is single handedly the best ever defensive boxer and quite possibly the greatest boxer in general ever to live, if you have anything against this man then it is only because he can be arrogant and people react to that, but give the guy a break because all he is doing when he 'talks trash' is his job of trying to sell his fights, and let's face it when he does beat Pacquiao everybody will find someone else to 'beat him'. Mark these next words, Floyd Mayweather Jnr will never ever experience defeat, not against any of the fighters who he could possible box, whether it be at Light Welterweight, Welterweight or even a catch weight, He is the greatest boxer ever to live in my opinion and this will be confirmed come Pacquiao / Mayweather fight night!
