"I think it would be a great, great all-action showdown so I'm frankly extremely excited if that fight could happen."

Very predictable that Ricky has decided to come back into boxing but who wants to watch this fight? Ricky showed against Manny that he's got very little left in the tank, no punch resistance whatsoever after boozing and eating like a 20 stoner, whilst Marquez proved against Floyd that he can't move up thwe weights and transfer his power and speed with him. (Watch the fight again and check out his fleshy waist if you don't believe me). This would be a boring figt in my opinion, Mrquex would be better moving back down to lightweight where he belongs and taking on a youngster like Valero, while if Ricky really does have to come back I'd rather see him in with Bradley for a real challenge, not just a money spinner. BUT, this is boxing! Money talks!

Ricky was a fantastic ambassador for British boxing, but has nothing left to prove. He will never surpass his ring achievements to date and looking at how his weight has ballooned again makes me wonder if his body is up to it. Also you have to question whether his punch resistance has now gone. Please hang up the gloves Ricky, this is what histeam should be advising him!

why return to boxing, he has proven in the past that he is a good boxer but not a great, what he thinks he will achieve by returning is not possible. He can never be regarded as a great now, even he does beat one or two more opponents in a what seems to be worthless battles....

Hasn't Hatton been embarassed enough recently without being destroyed by the class act that is JMM. Marquez was beaten by floyd because the weight was too high. At Light-Welter he will destroy Hatton

Dont get me wrong,I am English and wanted Ricky to win every fight ive watched him in but I cannot see this fight ending any other way than with Hatton out cold on his back again! He could soon be known as the HITMAN for the way he Hits the deck after a couple of rounds. He cant take a punch no more and needs to call it a day before people he gets hurt and ruins his rep.No point taking smaller fights either. So far hes only been beat by two of the best all time boxers so end it there mate
