Frank Maloney says he has offered Bernard Dunne the chance to get his career back on track with a fight against European super-bantamweight champion Rendall Munroe.
Munroe defended his European title for a fifth time by outpointing Simone Maludrottu and is now ranked second by the WBC and should challenge champion Toshiaki Nishioka next year.
However, Maloney says Munroe would fit in a fight with Irishman Dunne before that fight with the Japanese star, and says he will make them an offer.
Dunne lost his WBA title to Poonsawat Kratingdaenggym in September, and has already lost to Kiko Martinez - who was beaten twice by Munroe.
Maloney says Dunne's team have already been made one offer a year ago, but he will make another one to get the fight on.
"We made a fantastic offer for Bernard to face Munroe last year and I never heard a word from Dunne's camp," said Maloney.
"I am now willing to make them another offer to face Munroe early next year if they are brave enough to step forward. All his manager, Brian Peters has to do is call and lets see if he is up for the challenge, but somehow I doubt it.
"People might think I'm crazy to want the match, but Rendall could do with a knockout before facing Nishioka."
Maloney also hit out at some criticism the Leicester binman has taken for the manner of his latest victory.
"It is unfair on Rendall, but he has got big shoulders and just laughs off the criticism from people," Maloney added. "I do get angry because he has made five defences, and beaten two mandatory challengers who are world class, Martinez and Maludrottu.
"Martinez was unbeaten in 17 when Rendall beat him for the first time. Maludrottu is top drawer, made six defences of the European bantamweight title and lasted 12 rounds in a world title challenge in Japan.
"Rendall is one of the strongest super-bantamweights in the world and a top class pressure fighter."
