Virender Sehwag continued his fantastic form with an incredible double-century in Galle to lead India to a series-levelling victory.
It included four hits over the boundary and India's all-out total of 329 is the lowest in Test history to contain an individual double-hundred.
For good measure, he added another six in his half-century in the second innings.
He will be hoping to close the gap on Brendon McCullum still further in this week's third Test at the Premadasa Stadium in Colombo.
At long last Paul Collingwood has been able to move off the mark of eighteen sixes he has been stuck on for so long.
Recalled to the England team at Edgbaston, he made his nineteenth six of the year one to remember as it carried him from 94 to his first Test century for more than a year.
