Catalans Dragons have handed France international Gregory Mounis a new three-year contract.

The loose forward is an ever-present so far this season having come through the ranks at the Perpignan club

Mounis is one of only six survivors from the Dragons' first ever fixture in the engage Super League, against Wigan back in 2006.

"I began playing rugby with this club and I'm very proud to carry the Catalans jersey," he said. "It's wonderful for me to be a part of this adventure."

The 23-year-old is the latest player to commit his future to Les Catalans, who are currently sitting pretty in third spot in the table.

Clint Greenshields, Jerome Guisset, Jamal Fakir and Sebastien Raguin have all recently signed new long-term deals.
