Hull will find out on Monday what their punishment will be for fielding an ineligible player in this year's Carnegie Challenge Cup.
The Airlie Birds are in the dock after playing Jamie Thackray in the 42-5 fourth-round win over Rochdale on April 20.
The prop was not placed on the Cup register after re-signing from Leeds after the initial deadline of March 3.
Neither the club nor the Rugby Football League realised the blunder until Thackray had also appeared in the 32-18 fifth-round win at Widnes on May 11.
The RFL board of directors ruled three days later that both results should stand as the operation rules contained no provision for expelling them from the competition.
Now Hull - who lifted the trophy in 2005 - will face an RFL independent tribunal in Leeds to find out their punishment, which is expected to be a heavy fine.
The East Yorkshire club have since beaten Bradford in the competition and go up against Wakefield at the Keepmoat Stadium in Doncaster on July 27 in the semi-finals.
