Wilson: Picked for France
Catalans Dragons provide exactly half of coach John Monie's 40-man France squad for this year's World Cup in Australia.
The Super League club's 20-strong contingent includes Justin Murphy and John Wilson, who both qualify through residency.
James Wynne (Lezignan), Jared Taylor (Lezignan) and Trent Clayton (Toulouse) are eligible for the same reason.
However, Heath L'Estrange of Manly Sea Eagles and Sydney Roosters' David Shillington were ruled ineligible having initially been selected.
Monie will cut the squad down to a final list of 24 names on October 4 after the Super League Grand Final at Old Trafford.
France have been drawn in Pool Two for the tournament and begin their campaign against Scotland in Canberra on October 26.
They then move on to Wollongong to face Fiji on November 1.
