Moore: Finishes Tigers stint with ban
Hooker Scott Moore has played his last match for Castleford after being handed a two-game ban by the Rugby Football League's disciplinary committee.
Moore, 20, was also fined £300 after being found guilty of striking with his forearm during the Tigers' 54-12 defeat by Leeds at Headingley, where he was sin-binned for the offence on Rhinos captain Kevin Sinfield.
The ban means he will sit out Castleford's last matches of the engage Super League season against Warrington and Bradford.
Moore has spent the season on loan at the Tigers from St Helens and will join Huddersfield on a similar arrangement for 2009.
Wigan full-back Richard Mathers was cleared to play against his former club Leeds on Friday after the committee decided not to suspend him for a strike with his forearm.
Mathers was sent off - for the second time this season - for the offence in the Warriors' 32-22 win over Wakefield on August 15, and found guilty but the panel ruled the dismissal was sufficient punishment.
Catalans Dragons second rower Jamal Fakir was handed a one-match ban and a £300 fine after being found guilty of a reckless high tackle during his side's 22-20 win at Huddersfield.
The French international will miss Saturday's game against Wakefield in Perpignan but will be available for the Dragons' final league game at Harlequins and the play-offs.
