Mills: Wales captain for friendly against England

New Wales coach John Dixon has named an 18-man squad for the friendly against England at Doncaster next Friday.

The party includes seven players from Celtic Crusaders , including uncapped trio Geraint Davies, Lee Williams and Ben Flower.

Rhys Williams, an 18-year-old who is on Warrington's books, is another new face for the match at the Keepmoat Stadium.

Hull KR forward David Mills will captain a side that is likely to contain a blend of youth and experience after their failure to qualify for the World Cup.

Dave Halley, Craig Kopczak and Matt James, who are all from Bradford, and Warrington's Andy Bracek are the other players from Super League.

The squad will go into camp on Sunday and train in Wales until Thursday when they will travel to Yorkshire ahead of the match.
