Snitch: Back at Belle Vue
Versatile forward Steve Snitch has rejoined Wakefield Wildcats after being released by Huddersfield.
The 25-year-old began his career at Belle Vue in 2002, serving four years at the club before making the short trip west to Huddersfield in 2006.
With Snitch now back with Wakefield, coach John Kear believes that the Hull-born man will prove a worthy squad player as The Wildcat's look to improve on their eighth-placed finish in the Super League.
"Steve is another great addition to our squad and will add strength in depth," said Kear of his first signing of the close-season.
Meanwhile, the club will be relieved to have tied 20-year-old prop forward Kyle Bibb to a two-year contract extension.
The former Hull player made his debut in the Super League this year, before going on to make a total of ten appearances that clearly impressed the Wakefield coaching staff.
"Kyle has progressed immensely this year, getting a number of first team games under his belt and he really stood up to the challenge," said Kear.
"He has great potential and to secure him for another two years is excellent news for the club."
