Crocker: Injured
Sydney Roosters forward Anthony Tupou has been called up to Australia's World Cup squad to replace the injured Michael Crocker.
Tupou was initially overlooked by the Kangeroos despite playing in the centenary Test in May and was subsequently named in the Tongan squad.
However with Crocker, who is set to play in the Super League next season for Hull, failing to recover from a rib injury suffered in Melbourne Storm's Grand Final defeat by Manly, Australia have recalled Tupou.
Australian Rugby League chief executive Geoff Carr said: "Anthony Tupou's country of election is Australia.
"He has not applied to the Rugby League International Federation to change his country of election therefore the only country Anthony is eligible to play for in the Rugby League World Cup is Australia."
