Change of chairman at The Stoop
Harlequins chairman Keith Hogg has resigned from his position due to family and business commitments, with long-serving director and investor David Hughes once again taking on the role.
Hogg, who is based near Edinburgh, had been chairman since the departure of former owner Ian Lenagan in 2007.
Hogg said: "I have thoroughly enjoyed my time as chairman of Harlequins Rugby League and in an ideal world I would love to continue.
"However, I live in Scotland - and it really isn't fair on my family for me to spend as much time in London and travelling to games as I have done over the last year.
"I also need to progress my commercial interests, and these are now largely in Scotland."
Hughes, the club's majority shareholder, last took on the post of chairman after the sale of the then London Broncos by Sir Richard Branson in 2001.
"I would like to thank Keith for all his hard work on behalf of the club," said Hughes.
"He must be the most travelled person in UK rugby league in recent times. We hope that Keith will stay involved with the club in whatever way he can."
Quins are also hoping to fill their vacant chief executive's position as soon as possible.
