Quotes of the week
Lee Briers, Vinnie Anderson and youngster Mike Cooper have put pen to paper on new deals to stay at Warrington.
The trio have all committed their futures to the Halliwell Jones Stadium club until the end of the 2010 season.
Stand-off Briers, 31, had been linked with a move to neighbours Widnes of late, but coach Tony Smith has now moved to end the speculation over the former Wales international.
"Lee and I have a good working relationship and we understand what we require from one another," Smith said.
"We work happily together and have formed a good partnership so far. He is certainly one of the brightest rugby league talents in the game and I look forward to continuing to work with him next season.
"Vinnie also brings a wealth of experience to the team having had success in both the international and domestic game.
"For a young guy Mike has been around the first team for quite a long time too. He continues to improve and is set to establish himself as a regular first-team player of the future."
The deals ensure New Zealand international Anderson, 30, will continue to line-up alongside his brother Louis in the Wolves side.
Prop Cooper, 20, is a local product, meanwhile, who made his Super League debut in 2006.
