Bradford have signed out-of-contract centre Paul Sykes to a new a 12-month deal.

The 27-year-old rejoined the Bulls from Harlequins at the start of last season and has since scored 23 tries and 19 goals in 46 appearances.

"I always wanted to stay here and I am just glad it's now done and dusted," said Sykes, who started out with the Bulls as a junior 11 years ago.

"I've enjoyed my time at Bradford and I'm settled at this club so it's great to be able to sign for another year."

Bulls coach Steve McNamara added: "Paul's a very valuable member of our squad and the fact that he is a home-grown player meant it was important we kept him here."
